After a year and a half of speculations, rumors, and leaks (some legit, some not), we at Tekto Knives have finally revealed our 2022 flagship knife - the F1 Alpha. Gear Up For Adventure - Close Look At The F1
This is the first time that qualities like hard, rugged, and tactical have met the sleek, clean, and urban. The F1 is a badass, shockproof field knife, period. The black D2 drop-point titanium-coated blade is as badass as it is lethal. When put through a Grade-A torture test, the blade cleanly slashed the sandbag without effort. This razor-sharp blade 'will cut'. Titanium coating, air-hardening, and the high chromium carbon composition of the steel give the blade high edge retention and stability which we all want in a premium knife.
We managed to catch up with the designer of the new F1 Alpha knife, Stephen Lukes. The man is a born designer of all knives, outdoor gear, and tactical equipment and has been designing a wide variety of knives since 2014. He has honed his skills to produce some great knives that have thoroughly excited customers over the years. When asked about his vision behind the new F1 Alpha design, he humbly put, “I wanted to design a premium knife with clean lines that had a tough tactical look and feel to it, but also something you’d be able to use every day for any task thrown at it. The details of this knife combined with premium materials, ceramic ball bearings, and compact yet robust design all come together to create something great that I’m super excited about and hope that will also excite our customers.”

The knife has been designed and assembled in Portland, Maine, and made from local and imported materials.
