D2 steel is often used for tools due to its toughness. The D2 steel keeps an edge longer than most knives and can be difficult to sharpen. Keep oiled when not in use.

The blade is what I look at right after the quality of the knife as a whole. The blade, you can tell is CNC, which is amazing. It’s perfectly cut, the symmetry, the sharpness of the blade is of highest quality. I would like to highly recommend.
Good use of knife
This is a beautiful knife. The black on black is my style. I wear all black so I couldn’t go with the blue knife. The knife does not fail. The eject button is a bit hard to push at times, but nothing one doesn’t get used to. I know it says the blade is hard to sharpen but I personally havent had any issues using the basic work sharp off of amazon.
Solid but heavy.
This knife is solid. No rattle and has a very satisfying "snik-snak" we deployed.
Only complaint: one heavy knife. I was really surprised. Does it mean I won't use it? Nope. The blade is sharp and the design feels controllable when in use. Just be prepared for the haft.
Well designed knife. Of highest quality. I appreciate a good knife. Tekto has delivered time and time again. This is my 5th OTF from them. They’ve all been exceptional
Firts off I want to say how nice the people at Tecto are I ordered the wrong knife and they were willing to work with me so close to Christmas to change it out for the correct size. I like the weight of the knife it helps to push through the cut. Iam a combat vet 12bravo ( Combat Engineer ) I would carry this knive to war if I was sent back.
