The Takta uses a five-layer filter technology to provide superior protection against different particle types and sizes. The multi-layer filter technology is tested and approved at an FDA certified facility. The Tatka mask and filter consist of the following layers:

EFFECTIVE VENTILATION THROUGH DUAL VALVE SYSTEM

The two exhalation valves on the mask act as a ventilation system, making the mask easier to breathe through. When you breathe, the valves are transporting out the exhaled air to prevent the mask from becoming warm and moist. The valves are engineered to only transport out the exhaled air, and not let any unfiltered air to sneak in.

PERSONALIZED FIT FOR MINIMAL AIR LEAKAGE

To further improve the fit of the mask and stop air from sneaking in around the edges, each filter is equipped with an adjustable nose clip that gives the mask minimal air leakage, regardless of one’s face shape.

  • How long can I use one filter?

    In the package you get 1 changeable filter. Each filter lifetime depends on many factors such as the pollution in your surroundings. On average our filters last 80+ hours but we advise to replace every second week for hygienic reasons.

  • Can I return the mask?

    Our mask is a hygiene product and can only be returned if unopened in the original packaging. If you have opened the package and are not satisfied with our product, please write to support@tektogear.com and we will do our very best to help you out on a case-by-case basis.

  • Can I wash the mask?

    Yes, the masks are washable and reusable to make them stay an everyday lifestyle accessory just as long as any other item in your wardrobe. The filter and plastic parts need to be removed before washing. Hand wash only!
